Death of Haman

Death of Haman
Azor masters ca. 1430

Esther 7:9 - And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.
Esther begs Ahasuerus to revoke the decree against the Jews. It works; Esther gets the king to grant the Jews permission to kill all their enemies, completely turning the tables on them.

In the background Haman, the source of all evil, hanged, on the pole intended for Mordecai.
